Launched with the much fanfare, UTV Productions’ Shubh Vivah on Sony Entertainment Television grabbed eyeballs as it marked the comeback of handsome and sexy Eijaz Khan on small screen. But as they say, only faces don’t work. A show’s success ultimately depends on its script. Shubh Vivah never managed to impress the masses and failed to put the TRP chart on fire. We also got information that the channel made mind to pull the plug on the serial, but the latest we have learned is that the channel has decided to give Vivah an extension of three months. We talked to Neha Janpandit, the female lead in the show, regarding the extension, and she said, “Yes, I have also heard about it but have not received any official confirmation.” Moving on, the serial will see a new entry after Amit Dolawat and Priya Ahuja. Viewers will see Adarsh Gautam as Saroj’s (Neha Janpandit) rich uncle who will help her return to her sasural.
