KBC 4 to be aired on Sony TV on Big B’s 68th Birthday

– KBC 4 will start on its host, Amitabh Bachchan’s 68th birthday.
Big B tweeted on his micro-blogging account of Twitter that broadcasts of the show start on October 11. The phones lines to participate in the show opened on August 2, and in a matter of an hour and a half, there were around seven lakh SMSs. Bachchan writes on Twitter, “Questions to first round of entry to the show starts today. Broadcast starts October 11. KBC lines opened at 9 p.m. and in the first 5 minutes, there were 1.5 lakh SMSs.”
The first season of KBC (Year-2000) was another defining moment in Big B’s life. It was based on British show Who Wants to be a Millionaire and was extremely popular because it was both knowledgeable and entertaining. KBC 2 in 2005 had Big B as host again. However, KBC season 3 (2007) had Shah Rukh Khan as host.
